LifeLine


Lifeline was established to reduce stigma related to the disease of addiction and increase community support for policies that provide for treatment and recovery services  Unites, educates and supports people and organizations in breaking down barriers to a person wanting recovery through speaking engagements, and establishing recovery meetings.

The LifeLine Coordinator for Northeast Tennessee is Jason Abernathy.  

  Jason can speak to groups about addiction and recovery.  He can also talk with individuals who are struggling with addiction, new to recovery and/or their family members about his experience in recovery, navigating recovery meetings, or what resources are available to support recovery.  He can be reached through this site - Contact Lifeline or by calling 877-366-7593 ext 105.

Also available is the REDLINE -  an anonymous statewide referral source for any person who calls seeking assistance and/or resources on substance abuse and addiction disorders.  1-800-889-9789 

Below is a link to recovery meetings in the Northeast Region (Greene, Hawkins, Hancock, Sullivan, Washington, Carter and Unicoi Counties)  This includes recovery meetings that do not show up on regular meeting lists and includes faith based recovery meetings
