February 6, 2009 National Wear Red Day

Please support the effort of one of our partners - the Health Department. Join them on National Wear Red Day—a day when Americans nationwide will WEAR RED to show their support for heart disease awareness and give everyone a wake-up call about the risk of this disease. We are actively encouraging local businesses and organizations to wear red on this day in Johnson City and Washington County. Everyone can participate by wearing a favorite red dress, shirt, suit and tie. Join them in spreading the word about heart disease. We can make Washington County a healthier place to live.

February 8 - 12, 2009 CADCA National Leadership Forum Gaylord National Conference Center

CADCA’s National Leadership Forum XIX, the nation’s largest training event for community prevention leaders, treatment professionals and researchers! We’ve designed an exciting program for 2009, with more than 100 results-driven workshops, plenary sessions and special events. This year, we’re at a new location, Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center, right on the banks of the Potomac River and just 15 minutes from downtown Washington, DC.
